ProGuard Tuffie Muzzle Singles

Tuffie Muzzles were discontinued by the manufacturer. They made a new design for these muzzles. We still have this design in stock but very few left. We are sold out of the large. We do have plenty of small, medium, xl and xxl (Giant) in stock for the time being. This item was very popular and don't understand why the manufacturer changed the design.

This tougher version of our award winning Proguard series of muzzles. The Tuffie will give extra protection against frontal dog bites. This design has a thick padded protection specifically designed for the front that is cushioned for both dog and handler. Works great for medium to mild aggressive dogs. This unique design allows for the animal to open their mouth to breathe normally while still feeling comfortable and is superior to standard coffee cup muzzles. Prevents bitting and chewing. Quick and easy snap on. Machine washable.

The breed chart below is just a general guide. For correct fit, measure your dog for the correct muzzle size. Start at the eye of the dog and measure down to the tip of the nose to get an accurate muzzle length. To measure for the proper circumference, start one inch below the eye and measure all the way around the nose of the dog. For proper muzzle fit, you must add length to each circumference measurement. An addition of one-fourth of an inch to half of an inch is required for a small dog. Large dogs require an additional half inch to one full inch.

Small: Circumference of the Small is 7-1/2"
For Minature Poodle, Bichon Frise, Minature Schnauzer, Shelties, Yorkies, Cavalier Spaniels & other Miniature Breeds with similar size snouts.

Medium: Circumference of the Medium is 9-1/2"
For Small Beagles, Fox Terrier, Keeshound, Whippets, Westirs, Jack Russels, Standard Dachshunds, Standard Poodles, Lhasa Apso and dogs with similar size snouts.

Large: Circumference of the Large is 11"
For Border Collie, Large Beagles, Springers, Cocker Spaniel, Fox Terrier, Bull Terrier and dogs with similar size snouts.

X-Large: Circumference of the X-large is 12-1/2"
For German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Huskies, Doberman, Wolfhound, Setters and dogs with similar size snouts.

Giant: Circumference of the Giant is 16"
For St. Bernard, Great Dane, Newfoundland, Bull Mastiffs, Great Pyreness and dogs with similar size snouts.

CAUTION:
Designed for mildly aggressive dogs only. Practical usage recommended. Use only with direct supervision. Never leave your dog unattended. Using a muzzle for an extended period of time can interfere with your dog's natural cooling system.
