Often used in dog grooming circles on the face and feet of either a black or brown Poodle, especially for show purposes. It can be used with a clip on blade attachment for the removal of excess body coat, and is also used on Schnauzer ears but will be a fraction closer than the Oster#30.

Use in conjunction with a comb attachment to achieve a smart finish to a Poodle with a longer coat or to give the appearance of a hand scissored look on a mixed breed or a long coated terrier. A range of attachment combs can be fitted over these blades to provide increased cutting length. Comb attachments should only be used on well-groomed coats and not those, which are tangled or matted.
