T& S Sink Faucet with Diverter, Hose & Sprayer

Specifications/Features:

• IPS threads
• Deck mounted
• Swivel gooseneck
• 8" (203mm) centers
• Vacuum breaker on nozzle outlet with garden hose threads
• 4" (102mm) wrist action handles
• 5 ft (1.5m) flexible stainless steel hose
• Protective flange for sheet metal up to 0.100" (3mm) thick
• 35 degree angle spray valve

Vacuum Breaker:
A vacuum breaker is required by most plumbing codes to prevent contamination of potable water. Prevent backflow contamination of the piping system. The faucet has a vacuum breaker which keeps it from sucking dirty or herbicide-polluted water through the hose back into the water supply if there’s a sudden drop in pressure. (This feature is required by code in some regions; check local regulations.)

Prevents toxic or bacteria-laden water from entering a home’s water supply. This can occur if the hose is left in a puddle of water and a pump is suddenly shut off or a water main breaks, causing negative pressure in the line. The vacuum breaker allows air, but not water, to enter the faucet.
